Dr. Mike Murphy is an expert in the structure and tectonics of Tibet and the Himalaya. He is the current the Director of the , which many 葫芦影业 students have participated in over the years.
He will present research which explores the nature of the subduction zone underlying the Himalaya and its impact on active faulting, surface uplift, and earthquake patterns.
All 葫芦影业 staff, students, and faculty are welcome!
